Every year on 16 September Malaysia celebrates “Malaysia Day” or commonly known as Hari Malaysia. On this day people of the country commemorates the establishment of the Malaysian federation. On 16 September 1963, the day marked the merge of the former British colony of Singapore, Sabah, Sarawak, North Borneo, and the Federation of Malaya to form Malaysia.
