Introduction

This assignment research paper is based on the management of the project environment. The project environment signifies an association where the scheme is administered. In the process of the project management system, the requirement of the project environment use to analyze at the first establishment step of the development. The concept of the project environment is directly integrated to the project stakeholders into the project group. Some several different aspects and components are there such as project risk, stakeholders, control, and many more. The analysis of stakeholders has an impact on the implementation of the project environment. There are multiple and different kinds of approaches are available. The project environment can also be divided into three types such as:

• Internal project situation
• Project time setting
• External project background

In this assignment report, the research paper of Wideman will be analyzed and evaluate which describes every possible aspect and functionality of the application of the project environment. At the end of this assignment report, the implementation process of the management of the project environment will be evaluated and explained.

Project Environment

In today’s world the infrastructural impact and construction facility is being increased and growing. The technology has an effective approach nowadays and there are numerous business organizations are available who are utilizing the functionality of technological aspects in their business process-based project management system. The task of the project manager is to understand the concern of the project technology so that the project manager can manage the project accordingly. For this phase, conceptual development is one of the most important methodologies used by project managers. Nowadays the project management is the combination of cultural management, social environment, and organizational approach also. The proper identification of project stakeholders provides an effective approach to the application of the project management process. These all functional requirements and approaches define the positive approach of the project environment (Wideman R, 2019).

Dimensions of Project Environment:

The project environment has two different approaches and that approach can be considered as their components also such as its convenience facility and working outward. These elements have an impact on the project philosophy, unique commercial culture, and peripheral social environs also. There are four different distinct project phases are available such as:

• Conceive
• Develop
• Execute
• Finish

This phase is known as the CDEF process also and there are multiple kinds of different features are available for this four-phase. The different activities are given in the image and every single activity is the reason for building each phase. Every single phase has several sub-phases and in the construction of the project, every activity and phase is required. The first two stages mentioned to as the feasibility and manufacturing process and the remaining two segments referred to as the physical implementation and specification of the project.

Internal Project Culture:

This culture is completely based on the type of project and the reflection of the project. The functionality of the project culture is based on the nature and size of the project. A well-managed construction project has three different components such as consultant, corporate enterprise, and general construction also.

The given image is based on the execution process of the project management in the corporate environment and there are three different functionalities has been defined such as general construction, project sponsor (corporate enterprise, project cost estimation and scheduling), and consulting engineers. These all three different elements are directly associated with each other and having several sub-elements also. The involvement of every single person and activity has been defined in this given image. In the implementation of the corporate environment, the involvement of project managers is very much needed. Because in this phase the project manager uses to play two different but significant roles and responsibilities. One responsibility as a project mandate and other responsibility as a project manager that use to manage the professional performance of the department of a company (Wideman R, 2019).

Corporate Culture:

In the application of the project environment process, the corporate culture is openly correlated to the achievement rate of the project and this is bases on numerous areas such as time management, management style, the process included, and many more. The corporate culture is also known as the behavioral values of the organization’s employees. The corporate culture follows the basic architecture of project planning, coordination, and controlling resources also. The workplace of the corporate culture uses to divide into multiple different elements that are associated with the enterprise project boundary function. There are numerous challenges are also available of the corporate culture process such as:

• Preserving administrative culture
• Underpinning it at all times
• Comprise all squad associates, etc.

Identifying the Project Stakeholders:

In the execution of project environment stakeholder is the first most aspect that is very necessary. Without the involvement of stakeholder’s project management and environment cannot be imagined. Stakeholders are the kind of persons who use to take an interest in our project outcome. They are part of the project management team, project managers, business executives, and many more. The identification of stakeholders can be divided into two groups like:

• Stakeholder Groupings
• Stakeholder Category

Stakeholder Grouping:

The stakeholder grouping involves:

• That person is directly related to the project like a customer, material suppliers, manager, and many more.
• An individual or an organization that influences the infrastructural and technological bases approach of the project.
• The financial and economical based persons are also involved in this grouping of stakeholders (Youker R, 2018).

Stakeholder Category:

The stakeholder category uses a different approach for the identification of stakeholders because this categorized the list into the influence based approach for the project. There are three different approaches are available such as:

• Controllable individuals or group
• Influence individuals or group
• Those who need to be appreciated

Project Public Relations:

The application of project management aims to provide services to their customers and make a profit. The public relation and interaction are one of the most important approaches and functionality in this approach. The input-output project model is to be used in this public relation phase of project management. The quality information of the project used to present verbal communication and written also. The performance improvement has a different approach in this phase which based on the knowledge base area. The management process uses to send the process output to their customer so that they can identify the basic need of their customers and this process is known as feedback management.

The development of public relation plan has several different steps such as:

• Know the objective and organization of the project
• Identify that which section of public will be interested in the project
• Assess the current reputation for attracting more customers
• Identify and determine appropriate action
• Implement the public relation program

The aspect of esurient of public relation plan has some different steps such as:

• Develop quality information and benefit of the project
• The satisfaction of the stakeholders
• Timely response management approach
• Flexibility management technique, etc. (Wideman R, 2019)

This assignment was based on the fundamental of project management and the research paper that was selected for this organization was “managing the project environment” and this was written by Wideman.
