Compose an email responding to a complaint related to miscommunication?

Dear Sir / Mam,

I am extremely sorry for my behavior and the way I talked to you on last Thursday during a business meet. My behavior was very inappropriate and I assure same would not happen again in future. You deserve utmost respect and you will receive same from next time onwards. Further, I realized that it was not only disrupting but also distracted others from their work.

It was an embarrassing situation not just for you but also for everyone present. Later I learned that no one liked my attitude towards you. I will make every effort to change my behavior and would myself to circumstances around.

Once again, I am extremely sorry for my behavior and I hope we will keep aside whatever happened and move forward to normal. I look forward to work with you soon again. In case of any further discussion/clarification on this matter, please contact me via email / phone.

Thanking you.

Yours Sincerely,

Prepare a report advising effects of Brexit on a micro – brewery?

For everyone beer lover “The most important question after Brexit is on Beer? Well no one knew the exact answer and no one would know.

It would be too early to comment anything since it is been days declared that when the LEAVE vote came out. But within a week since the result came out, US brewery stocks are again on a rise along with further rest of the market, little can be predicted now.

But there are few things to ponder upon:

  • If you are not in Britain, Beer would be cheaper for you in Britain. The queen‘s currency, Pound Sterling is somewhere steady but it is not finding a way to make a position in market any day soon. The Dollar, The Euro and the other big competitors in the market with their products like the Sam Smith or the Old Speckled Hen could have a problem in the market due to cheap beer available. But when it comes to countries whose currencies have remain stable  like Germany, Belgium , the Czech Republic and the other are most likely to remain unharmed.
  • The new tariff might lower down the cost of imports in United Kingdom and in return increase the cost of others. Now this is a bit confusing part, as European members do not tariff among themselves but they do pay tariff coming from other countries and once Britain is no longer part of European Union, it could remove or lower down the tax barriers from other countries as well as it could add the tax barriers from its own countries like it could charge a tax on Earthy English hops or may on malt from Germany or on Cider Apples from France. If the cost of ingredients is high, the cost of overall product increases and the same goes if the cost of ingredients is low.
  • With the currency dropping, the overall standard of living also likes to decline. With the standard of living decline, the Brits like to cut down on their Beer too. So most of the Craft Breweries may find difficult to find customers in Britain but they may cut downs the cost of beer to find customers that too to a limit , but that too is not going to be a profitable deal for them. And who knows if Brits cannot afford even that price in coming future.

“The customer may pay the asked price for his favorite beer but too has a limit and it would depend on his own level of living”.

Although many do export a big fraction to the  UK , Brooklyn, which is partnering with Denmark-based Carlsberg export 8  % of their total to the UK but now most of the brewers have found their base somewhere else  which is nowhere close to the UK.

Dave Engbers, co-founder of Founders Brewing in Grand Rapids, MI, made a big statement saying that although the exports to the UK are going to a significant rate but it is nowhere comparable to that is being exported to the US. With the UK market itself restructuring, it may be very difficult to export with the country so many would either cut down their exports to the country or if not cut lower down to a great extent. The example that could be sited down is cancellation of a big Italian order as they were insecure in the present situation to go ahead quoted Claire Ash Bridge – Thomlinson, the director of the East London Brewing Company.

For any economy, the biggest enemy for their finance is the market uncertainty. With the deprecating currency and with the credit agencies giving a bad rating to the country, there is a strong chance that probable investors may stay away from the country and in return the banks may have to raise the interest rates. Among all this chaos, the domestic distributors may not be able to find even the domestic orders or the foreign ones. Even after surviving all these, it may not be easy for them, they would not be able to expand further.

“No one really knows what is going to happen but it surely is path full of thorns for the Brits Brewery “.

But there is good news for the Brits:

  • There are some UK brewing companies doing extremely good post Brexit . As the owner of Guinness and the world’s highest number of alcoholic beverage brands, London-based Diageo is expected to do fairly well in post Brexit era. As per as the reports, only 10 % of the total manufactured beverage is likely to stay in the country and rest is likely to be exported out. In fact it is benefitting from the countries whose stronger currencies has the capability to purchase the cheap product manufactured , now can purchase the british goods at the cheapest rates than ever before. This advantage gives Diageo more leverage against a buyout – something many analysts predict will happen sooner rather than later.
  • The AB InBev/Miller deal will go down. — Though Anheuser-Busch InBev spokespeople declined to speculate on the repercussions of Brexit, they did confirm that they expect to complete their EU-approved merger with MillerCoors in the second half of this year – long before Britain has a chance to extricate itself from EU contracts (Somerville, 2016).
  • Now Britain would have the power to negotiate all the terms and conditions with every country it would trade with which was earlier done by the EU. It would re – negotiate with everyone who deals with any sort of business whosoever it may be, landlords, suppliers or whether alcohol control boards. Time would be best one to judge, if the new laws are in favor of Britain or against it.
